| Apostle Melvin Allen Cartwright is the founder and senior Pastor of the Eagle’s Nest Cathedral of West Point Georgia where he and his wife Jackquline of 35 years have served the surrounding community for 21 years. His ministry spans three decades beginning in the mid 70’s with street and tent services throughout the east Alabama and west Georgia region. Eagle’s Nest has established a large international network of ministry with connections in India, Africa and Ireland. During a Visitation from the Spirit of God in 1989, he was impressed of the Spirit to write the words “Your success will depend on your obedience to God”. Those words have become the motto of his work.The Vision of the church is to reach the lost, restore the broken in heart, build up the down cast with the Word of God through teaching, preaching, and living the word. Apostle Cartwright holds diplomas in Advanced Studies in Prophecy; Biblical Studies and Pastoral Counseling from the Institute of Biblical Studies of Virginia; Doctorate of Divinity from St. Thomas Christian College in Jacksonville Florida and is a graduate of the Joint College of African American Pentecostal Bishops Congress. Apostle Cartwright is a member in good standing of the International Association of Christian Counselors and a 1996 recipient of the NAACP’s Martin Luther King Jr Humanitarian Award.He is the Husband of one wife, a Father of five children, a Leader and a Man of God. |
| Jackqueline Cartwright is the founder and CEO of both Hope Enterprise and J'S Promotion. Hope Enterprise was founded in 1997, and J'S Promotion was launched in 2006. Jackquline Cartwright previously worked in the West Point area with Bishop Melvin Allen Cartwright, her husband of 32 years. Over the course of time the desire to help both young and old became the prime target of Hope Enterprise as well as J'S Promotions. Hope Enterprise offered tutoring and mentoring for kids from ages 2-18 years of age. This program also served as a feeding program to the kids as well during the summer months. J'S Promotions would serve as a success builder for youth who desired to excel in life. This organization would provide the necessary teachings and steps to help kids obtain success through counseling and mentoring. Jackquline Cartwright was selected to Cambridge Who's Who in 2006 for best business of the year. After a while who would know that Hope Enterprise would become an outstanding organization in the Chambers County are alone. Hope Enterprise provided almost 2000 bag lunches to the kids in the community this summer. Hope would then go on to be approved and certified by the East Alabama Food Bank to do a massive feeding program to those who met the eligibility criteria. Hope distributed over 800lbs of Food Bank Food on November11th of this year. Jackquline Cartwright is an out standing individual who has fixed her focus on helping others. Mrs. Cartwright is also a yearly contributor to both the Arthritis and Cancer Foundation of America. |
